Red grenache, carignan and cabernet sauvignon.
24-month ageing in French oak barrels.
IL·LIA comes from a vineyard of Red Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon. The property west-faced. The elevation is about 290-300 metres (950-985 ft) above the sea level. The Les Manyetes ravine begins in this estate, so the center of the vineyard is slightly wetter than the generally dry area typical of the hillside where the vineyard is located.
The year 2018 experienced rains galore during the winter and spring, a gift from nature that the vineyards payed back giving more relaxed and slightly more abundant fruit than in other vintages. The dog heat lasted about three weeks (during July), in August and September it was mostly cloudy, with temperatures rarely exceeding 30ºC (86ºF). The harvest took place in the second half of September, beginning with the Red Grenache and ending with the Carignan.
