Do you want to learn how to prune grapevines and eat calçots in a region that stands out for its wine and food and enjoy the extraordinary scenic beauty?

You’re welcome to visit us on the 13th, 20th or 27th of February (Sundays) to enjoy the Priorat panoramas and learn how to prune.

The workshop will end with a wine tasting and a subsequent calçotada at the Mas Trucafort restaurant (Falset).

Schedule:

  • 10.30 – 11.00 am – meeting at Celler Devinssi
  • 11.00 – 11.30 am – guided walk to the vineyard
  • 11.30 am – 1 pm – grapevine pruning workshop and wine tasting
  • 1 – 1.30 pm – return to the village, possibility to buy wine in the cellar
  • 1.30 – 2 pm – transfer to Mas Trucafort (Falset)
  • 2 – 4 pm – lunch and calçotada at Mas Trucafort.

Prices:

  • Standard rate: € 50 per person (VAT included)
  • Grapevine adopter rate: € 40 per person (VAT included)
  • Grapevine adopters’ friend rate: € 45 per person (VAT included)

The price includes:

  • participation in the workshop
  • participation in the calçotada (see the menu below)

IMPORTANT: Please advise in case of dietary restrictions.

You need to bring good walking shoes (low difficulty), comfortable clothes (hiking) and water.

Participation in the pruning workshop implies compliance with the SARS-VOC-2 coronavirus safety measures.

    • Calçots cooked on grapevine twigs

Time has come for calçotadas and it’s also time to carry out typical winter winemaking tasks. Do you want to learn how to prune grapevines and eat calçots in a region that stands out for its wine and food and enjoy the extraordinary scenic beauty?

The SARS-VOC-19 pandemic halted certain cellar-door activities. This year we are resuming the grapevine pruning master classes, always sticking to the safety measures.

From Gratallops (DOQ Priorat) and Falset (county capital), we offer you to enjoy an enriching and foodie activity: grapevine pruning workshop featuring a calçotada barbecue.

You’re welcome to visit us on the 13th, 20th or 27th of February (Sundays) to enjoy the Priorat panoramas and learn how to prune grapevines.

This way you can learn how to prune vines in good company! We will not make you prune the whole vineyard, but we will simply teach you the techniques and you will spend some nice time in contact with nature. The workshop will end with a wine tasting and a subsequent calçotada at the Mas Trucafort restaurant.
