Grapevine pruning master class and calçotada in Priorat (February 2023)

Do you want to learn how to prune grapevines and eat calçots in a region that stands out for its wine and food and enjoy the extraordinary scenic beauty?

You’re welcome to visit us on the 12th, 19th or 26th of February (Sundays) to enjoy the Priorat panoramas and learn how to prune.

The workshop will end with a wine tasting and a subsequent calçotada at the Mas Trucafort restaurant (Falset).

Schedule:

• 10.30 – 11.00 am – meeting at Celler Devinssi
• 11.00 – 11.30 am – guided walk to the vineyard
• 11.30 am – 1 pm – grapevine pruning workshop and wine tasting
• 1 – 1.30 pm – return to the village, possibility to buy wine in the cellar
• 1.30 – 2 pm – transfer to Mas Trucafort (Falset)
• 2 – 4 pm – lunch and calçotada at Mas Trucafort.

Prices:

• Standard rate: € 55 per person (VAT included)

The price includes:

• participation in the workshop
• participation in the calçotada (see the menu below)

IMPORTANT: Please advise in case of dietary restrictions.

You need to bring good walking shoes (low difficulty), comfortable clothes (hiking) and water.

CALÇOTADA MENU

• Appetisers
• First course: Standing up outdoors with your bib on
  • Calçots cooked on grapevine twigs
  • Homemade romesco dressing
  • Porró of wine
• Second course: Seated in the restaurant
  • Braseros with:
  • Lamb, shrimp and artichoke
  • Casserole with beans, black sausage and potatoes
  • Aioli dressing
